Schedule/Hours:
- 6:30 AM 5:00 PM
Key Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered RN license
- At least 2 years recent experience as an Operating Room nurse (RN-OR)
- BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Skilled in collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams
- Strong critical thinking and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe and effective perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures as assigned
- Monitor patient status throughout surgery, identifying any changes promptly
- Maintain sterile technique and strict infection control protocols
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Engage with patients and families to provide clear communication and compassionate support
