An experienced Registered Nurse with a strong background in acute care operating room settings is needed to support surgical services in a dynamic healthcare environment. This opportunity involves working at a Level 3 trauma center with a diverse surgical team managing up to 12 operating rooms. A minimum of five years experience in various specialtiesincluding general surgery, neurology, orthopedics, ENT, and gynecologyis essential to excel in this role.

Location: This position is based in Hartsville, South Carolina, a charming city known for its welcoming community and southern hospitality. The area offers a blend of historic sites, local parks, and cultural attractions, making it an inviting place to live and work.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week (7 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
• On-call duties every 3rd to 4th weekend
• One 2-star on-call shift weekly until 11 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care across a broad range of surgical specialties
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
• Comply with trauma center protocols in this Level 3 trauma facility
• Manage and utilize radiation badges provided through the agency as required
• Document patient care accurately using the Epic electronic health record system

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in South Carolina or multi-state compact license
• Minimum 5 years of acute care OR nursing experience with broad specialty competency
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Availability for scheduled and on-call shifts, including weekends
• Experience with trauma patient care preferred due to the trauma level designation
