Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license, unrestricted in the state of Michigan (or compact eligible)
- Minimum of one year recent Operating Room Registered Nurse experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (other certifications a plus)
- Strong ability to adapt to different surgical services and procedural protocols
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub during surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and sterile environments
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs before, during, and after procedures
- Prepare and maintain OR equipment and supplies
- Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families
- Document care clearly and accurately in EMR systems
- Actively recognize and address patient needs throughout perioperative continuum
