Job Description
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to deliver exceptional perioperative care. In this contract position, you will be a key member of a collaborative clinical team, committed to providing high-quality, patient-focused services in accordance with leading nursing standards and evidence-based practices.

Qualifications & Experience
- Current RN license valid in the state of Georgia
- At least one year of recent RN experience in an Operating Room setting
- Strong knowledge of perioperative best practices, safety, and patient management
- Understanding and adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act
- Ability to work cooperatively within an interdisciplinary team, communicating effectively with patients, families, and team members
- Commitment to uphold the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics established by the American Nurses Association
- BLS certification (additional certifications may be required)
- Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, individualized, and high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
- Advocate for patients and families, ensuring their voices are heard throughout the care process
- Support and implement evidence-based nursing practices and the organizations Professional Practice Model
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers, unlicensed and licensed staff to optimize patient outcomes and maintain service excellence
- Comply with all system policies, procedures, and quality initiatives put forth by the organization
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements
