Schedule/Hours:
- Full-time, contract assignment
Essential Qualifications:
- Current Georgia RN license in good standing
- Prior experience in an Operating Room (OR) or perioperative nursing setting
- Strong foundation in clinical best practices and commitment to professional standards
- Ability to prioritize patient needs, advocate for patient and family-centered care, and work effectively with interdisciplinary team members
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge and application of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver perioperative nursing care in alignment with the facilitys professional practice and evidence-based standards
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and allied health professionals to ensure exceptional outcomes
- Maintain compliance with all safety protocols, organizational policies, and professional nursing standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement processes and contribute to service excellence initiatives
- Champion patient advocacy and uphold compassionate care throughout the surgical experience
