This contract role is ideal for a registered nurse with well-rounded experience and competency in general, neuro, ortho, ENT, and GYN surgeries. The position offers the chance to work in a Level 3 trauma center, supporting up to 12 state-of-the-art operating rooms.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 am 5:00 pm)
• On-call required: Two evening calls per week (until 11 pm) and call every 3rd to 4th weekend

Qualifications:

• Current SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
• Minimum of 5 years recent operating room experience in acute care settings
• Proficient across multiple specialties (general, neuro, ortho, ENT, GYN)
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to provide your own radiation badge (required)
• First-time travelers welcomed if possessing robust competency across specialties

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective perioperative nursing care throughout all phases of surgery
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in Epic EMR
• Responsibly participate in on-call assignments, including some weekends
• Adhere to all facility guidelines and emergency response requirements, especially during hurricane season
