Job Description

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Cardio-Vascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience to support surgical teams in Canyon, TX. This travel position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM plus on-call responsibilities
  • Candidates must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved Registered Nurse program (Required)
  • BSN degree highly desired
  • Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the state or district (Required)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years CVOR experience, especially with surgeries including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, Valve Replacement, Carotid Endarterectomy, and Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repair (Required)
  • Cerner electronic medical record experience (Required)
  • Candidates with 1 year of Operating Room experience both scrubbing and circulating may be considered
