Job Description

A specialized Registered Nurse opportunity is available in the Operating Room for those with strong neuro and robotics surgical experience. This contract position offers a 3x12 night shift schedule (1830-0700) in Billings, MT, providing a chance to work in a Level I Trauma Center environment. The role includes rotating days off aligned with unit needs, weekend shifts, and on-call requirements of approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend shift per month. Flexibility with Return To Office (RTO) requests is supported, provided time is made up.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with 3+ years of Operating Room experience
  • Level I Trauma Center experience required
  • Strong Neuro surgical skillset covering ALIF, Anterior cervical fusion, Craniotomy, Kyphoplasty, Laminectomy/discectomy, Lumbar fusion, and XLIF procedures
  • Experience with Da Vinci Xi Surgical System robotics required
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Willingness to work a night-shift schedule and weekends
  • First-time travel nurses encouraged to apply

  • Deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care within a fast-paced OR setting specializing in neuro procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and efficient surgical flow
  • Manage robotic-assisted surgeries with the Da Vinci Xi system confidently
  • Maintain sterile technique and adhere to hospital protocols during surgical procedures
  • Participate in on-call rotations and adapt to flexible scheduling as needed
