Job Description
Provide exceptional intraoperative patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This role focuses on supporting operating room services, ensuring patient safety and care throughout surgical procedures. The position is contract-based and located in Albion, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive intraoperative nursing care to surgical patients.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to maintain a sterile and safe environment.
- Monitor patient status and surgical progress continuously.
- Assist in preparing the operating room for various surgical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and infection control protocols.
- Support perfusion services and other operating room functions as needed.
- Coordinate effectively with inpatient and outpatient surgical services.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with OR experience.
- Strong knowledge of operating room protocols and surgical procedures.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with perfusion services and both inpatient and outpatient settings preferred.
