A nursing opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) expertise, based in Lodi, CA. This contract position involves delivering expert nursing care to critically ill neonates and supervising nursing activities in a high-acuity setting.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing coordinated nursing care following established standards and the nursing process
- Supervising and directing assigned nursing staff, ensuring quality and adherence to protocols
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Utilizing critical thinking and professional judgment in patient management and team leadership
- Delivering intensive monitoring and care to neonates experiencing life-threatening conditions in a Level III or Level IV NICU setting
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Current RN licensure with specialized training or experience in NICU nursing
- Strong critical thinking and supervisory skills
- Ability to work independently while managing a team and complex patient needs
- Experience with neonatal life support and advanced neonatal care standards
