A skilled Registered Nurse with a specialization in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is needed to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. This contract role offers an opportunity to apply specialized nursing skills and make a significant impact on the health and well-being of newborns requiring critical care.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill neonates in the NICU.
- Monitor, assess, and document the condition of newborn patients and their families.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide support and education to families regarding their infants condition and care needs.
- Maintain a sterile and safe environment adhering to hospital protocols and standards.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license with NICU nursing experience.
- Strong knowledge of neonatal care practices, including ventilator management and monitoring of premature infants.
