Job Description

Provide specialized nursing care in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) setting, supporting critically ill newborns and their families. This position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonates, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and operating specialized medical equipment.
  • Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Educate and support families, providing guidance on newborn care and addressing concerns.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current and valid RN license.
  • Proven experience in NICU nursing with a strong understanding of neonatal pathophysiology.
  • Ability to perform specialized assessments and interventions for critically ill newborns.
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
  • Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) preferred.
