Job Description

Provide specialized nursing care for neonates in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment. This role involves delivering coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and nursing processes. You will supervise and direct nursing staff at various levels and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment are essential to manage the complex needs of neonates experiencing life-threatening conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver intensive care and monitoring for neonates requiring critical support
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of nursing staff in the NICU
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to ensure quality and safety in patient care
  • Participate actively in unit meetings and ongoing professional development

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Proven experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (NICU), ideally in a Level III or Level IV setting
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
