This opportunity offers the chance to provide coordinated nursing care for a diverse patient population in a general acute care setting. The role involves overseeing the nursing process while managing and directing nursing staff activities. Candidates will apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory skills to ensure high-quality patient care for both medical and surgical patients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff across various levels
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in clinical and supervisory decisions
- Maintain a patient population mix of medical and surgical cases, generally no greater than 65% of either type
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license with a minimum of an RN-MS level of expertise
- Proven supervisory or leadership experience in acute care nursing
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Experience caring for both medical and surgical patient populations
