Assignment Details:
- Setting: Medical-Surgical unit
- Location: Slocomb, AL
- Shift: Days, 7a-7p
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Current BLS and ACLS certification required
- NIHSS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg nursing experience
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility
- Submission of complete credentials is required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans and discharge instructions
- Uphold best practices for patient safety and infection control
