Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited institution
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association
• Proficiency in comprehensive assessment, prioritization, and critical thinking
• Strong interpersonal, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to independently manage acute, chronic, and postoperative patient care in a fast-paced setting
• New graduates and experienced nurses encouraged to apply; certification timelines dependent on experience and specialty area

Key Duties:

• Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
• Educate patients and families regarding care, treatments, and discharge planning
• Recognize and act upon changes in patient condition, prioritizing patient-centered interventions
• Collaborate interprofessionally to coordinate holistic care and facilitate referrals as needed
• Accurately document interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record
