Deliver specialized and compassionate care for cancer patients as an experienced RN with a focus on Medical-Surgical Oncology. This contract position requires expertise in the unique needs of oncology patients, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and dedication to providing both physical and emotional support throughout each phase of treatment.

Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Prior experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology strongly preferred
• Proficiency with the nursing process, patient assessment, and healthcare documentation
• Skilled at collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated ability to offer both physical and psychological support to patients and their families
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Supervisory experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Promote and restore patient health through individualized, evidence-based nursing care
• Oversee and guide the nursing team assigned to patient care
• Coordinate with physicians and other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatments, and ongoing recovery
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document all aspects of care
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts
