Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Experience in Medical-Surgical or Oncology nursing required
- Strong knowledge of chemotherapy protocols, symptom management, and patient education
- BLS certification (other certifications preferred)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and provide compassionate patient support
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and coordinate direct patient care tailored to the needs of oncology patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout treatment
- Collaborate closely with physicians and healthcare professionals to implement individual care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding diagnosis, treatment, and symptom management
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy, and monitor for adverse reactions
- Supervise, mentor, and delegate tasks to assigned team members, ensuring high standards of care
