Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum one year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology nursing
- Current BLS certification required; OCN certification highly desirable
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to individuals undergoing oncology treatment, including chemotherapy, pain management, and symptom monitoring
- Administer medications, assess patient responses, and coordinate multidisciplinary care plans
- Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and potential complications related to oncology therapies
- Provide emotional support, patient education, and discharge planning for patients and families
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation in accordance with hospital standards
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, surgeons, case managers, and allied health partners to achieve optimal patient outcomes
