Provide expert nursing care in a specialized oncology setting supporting a renowned breast clinic. This contract position is ideal for Registered Nurses with a strong background in oncology who thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to oncology patients, with a focus on infusion therapy and management of central lines.
- Utilize advanced skills in accessing central lines and proficient IV insertion to support treatment plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal clinical outcomes.
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records in an ambulatory setting.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of oncology nursing practices and standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with at least 3 years of current oncology nursing experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with central lines and IV skills; hands-on experience within the last three years required.
- Prior experience in medical-surgical nursing, emergency department, infusion centers, or critical care preferred.
- Oncology infusion experience is mandatory.
- Familiarity with ambulatory EPIC systems is advantageous.
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) credential is preferred.
