Job Description

A nursing opportunity is available in North Pole, Alaska, focusing on sub-acute and long-term care. This full-time, contract position offers flexible scheduling with three 12-hour shifts, including both day and night options. Weekend, holiday, and on-call duties are required on an as-needed basis.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments covering physical, psychological, social, and cultural patient needs.
Review patient history and collaborate with families to ensure timely completion of care plans.
Analyze diagnostic and laboratory data, escalating abnormal results to physicians and caregivers.
Develop and implement individualized care plans, incorporating multidisciplinary team input.
Address discharge planning, education, and patient-specific goals with measurable outcomes.
Consider holistic patient factors including spiritual, developmental, and educational needs.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse with a minimum of 2 years professional experience.
Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
