Provide exceptional nursing care as a Registered Nurse with a medical-surgical specialty in an adult inpatient unit. Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality care to adult patients with medical-surgical conditions such as abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and morbid obesity.
- Operate specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes proficiently.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans.
- Adhere to patient safety and infection control protocols.
- Participate in floating assignments as required within the facility.
- Adapt to shift schedules from 6:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., with block scheduling offered but not guaranteed.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active and unencumbered RN licenses in New York and any other states, verified through NURSYS.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in medical-surgical nursing.
- Travel nursing experience is required and must be well documented.
- Valid drivers license with an address matching demographic requirements.
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Competency in using EPIC electronic medical records system.
- Ability to submit required documentation including Resume, Return to Office (RTO), and license verifications upon application.
Travel Details: This role offers a travel nursing contract with options for local candidates within 75 miles at a local rate or nurses willing to travel. Flexible relocation options may be available.
