This opportunity is for an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus on Medical-Surgical care, based in Milford, IA. This contract position offers a dynamic work environment, caring for a diverse patient population including swing bed and higher-acuity cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiently read and interpret EKG strips as part of routine patient monitoring.
• Manage care for 1-2 patients requiring intensive monitoring alongside swing bed patients.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a unit with up to 12 beds and an average census of 3-6 patients.
• Assist the Emergency Room as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a team-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with Med-Surg experience.
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 6:30 AM).
• Willingness to float to the ER when necessary.
• Availability to work every 3rd weekend, including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts.
• Weekend rotation every third weekend.
