A registered nurse licensed in California is needed for a contract assignment at a medical center in Lodi, CA. This facility operates a 22-bed unit accommodating Med/Surg and Telemetry patients, requiring a nurse adaptable to varying patient needs and unit demands. The position requires flexibility to float between Med/Surg, Telemetry, and task in departments including ED, ICU, and OB, providing a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in Med/Surg and Telemetry units. Float as required to other departments, including Emergency, ICU, and Obstetrics, performing assigned tasks. Adhere to staffing ratios: Telemetry 4:1, Med/Surg 5:1. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacists, phlebotomy, and providers, utilizing Cerner for documentation and Pyxis for medication management. Participate in weekend rotations approximately every other weekend, with some scheduling flexibility based on business needs. Maintain compliance with call requirements and facilitate continuity of care.

Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California. Minimum experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing. Flexibility and ability to float across multiple units. Proficiency with electronic medical records and medication systems. Strong communication and clinical assessment skills. Capability to work both independently and collaboratively.
