A registered nurse licensed as RN-MS is sought for a contract opportunity located in Lodi, CA, supporting a 22-bed facility with Med/Surg and Telemetry units. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling a diverse patient population and floating flexibly across Med/Surg, Tele, and other specialty departments such as ED, ICU, and OB for task-oriented assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care across Med/Surg and Telemetry units
- Float between departments per union contract to support patient care needs
- Participate in weekend rotations approximately every other weekend, adjusted as needed
- Utilize Pyxis medication system and Cerner electronic documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including pharmacy, phlebotomy, and providers
- Adhere to hospitalist and intensivist coverage protocols with remote support when required
- Comply with scheduling requirements and guidelines related to time-off and coverage
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active RN licensure with Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) endorsement
- Experience in Med/Surg and Telemetry nursing essential
- Ability to float efficiently across various inpatient areas
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing and Cerner documentation systems preferred
- Flexibility to participate in call schedules and weekend coverage

- Mix of self-request and business-driven scheduling
