This opportunity is for a registered nurse with a med-surg background to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. In this contract position located in Lawton, OK, you will apply your assessment skills and nursing knowledge to develop and implement care plans. Working collaboratively with ancillary nursing staff and other healthcare team members, you will maintain high professional nursing standards in a clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop nursing diagnoses
- Create and implement individualized patient care plans
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Provide leadership in maintaining nursing practice standards in the clinical environment
- Deliver care to a diverse patient population across the lifespan
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 6 months med-surg nursing experience required
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:5
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Capacity to work independently and within a team
Schedule:
- 7 PM to 7 AM shift
