Provide expert nursing care on a dynamic medical-surgical unit specializing in swing bed patients with occasional higher acuity needs. This opportunity offers a 13-week contract in Hull, IA, with a schedule designed for dedicated professionals seeking a night shift role with meaningful patient interaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiently read and interpret EKG strips to monitor patient cardiac status.
• Manage a patient census averaging 3-6 individuals, with responsibility for up to 12 beds.
• Provide skilled care for 1-2 patients requiring more intensive monitoring on average.
• Float to the Emergency Room as needed, demonstrating flexibility and quick adaptation to varying patient needs.
• Adhere to all safety and clinical regulations while delivering compassionate patient-centered care.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid RN licensure with experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and PALS.
• Strong competency in EKG interpretation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable with night shifts and a schedule that includes every third weekend off.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.
• Weekend requirement: every 3rd weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
