A Registered Nurse with a background in Med/Surg nursing is needed to provide compassionate and comprehensive care in a dynamic clinical setting. This contract role offers the opportunity to work varied 7pm-7am shifts over a 13-week period, balancing hands-on patient care with collaboration alongside a dedicated healthcare team.

Location: Fort Washakie, Wyominga community surrounded by beautiful landscapes and rich cultural heritage, offering a peaceful yet engaging environment for healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborating with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Administering prescribed medications safely by oral, subcutaneous, or IV routes, documenting all treatments and reporting any adverse reactions
• Educating patients on surgical procedures and providing necessary information to support recovery
• Recording patient medical data, including vital signs and condition changes
• Occasionally providing care for pediatric and adolescent patients
• Flexibly floating between two nearby facilities as needed

Qualifications:

• Current Wyoming RN license or a multi-state RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Med/Surg RN in a hospital setting
• Strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to respond effectively in acute care environments
• Willingness to adapt to fluctuating shift patterns and assignments between two facilities
