Job Description
Provide comprehensive nursing care as a registered nurse on the medical-surgical unit, supporting patients across all age groups, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. This contract opportunity requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to uphold high standards of professional nursing practice. You will be responsible for assessing patients, formulating nursing diagnoses, and developing personalized care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop appropriate nursing diagnoses
- Create and implement individualized patient care plans
- Provide leadership by coordinating with ancillary nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
- Maintain adherence to clinical nursing standards and protocols
- Deliver nursing care to a diverse patient population on the medical-surgical unit
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license with Medical-Surgical experience
- Minimum of 6 months medical-surgical nursing experience required
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Commitment to maintaining patient safety and quality care standards
Schedule:
- Night shift, 7 PM to 7 AM
- Patient ratio of 1:5, ensuring manageable workload and focused patient care
