Schedule/Hours:
- Travel assignment, schedule details to be provided upon placement
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license in New York State (or compact license if applicable)
- Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical nursing role
- BLS certification required; additional credentials preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and patient care skills
- Excellent adaptability and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients
- Coordinate and implement physician-ordered treatments and care plans
- Monitor, record, and assess patients condition throughout each shift
- Collaborate efficiently with providers and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and their families on treatment and post-discharge care
- Maintain thorough and accurate records according to facility standards
