An opportunity is available for a registered nurse with Med/Surg expertise to provide clinical leadership and deliver comprehensive patient care in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract role emphasizes patient assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized care plans, while supporting healthcare team members throughout the assigned shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the healthcare team during your shift to ensure consistent, high-quality care.
• Manage bed and patient care assignments effectively for current and upcoming shifts.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance clinical knowledge through ongoing education and unit in-services.
• Establish strong professional relationships with peers, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Analyze patient assessment data to identify diagnoses, plan care strategies, and evaluate progress.
• Collect pertinent patient data, recognize normal and abnormal findings, and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Implement and oversee care delivery aligned with approved safety and infection control standards.
• Serve as a positive role model and provide constructive performance feedback to team members.
• Employ teaching techniques to promote patient health and safety.
• Maintain accurate documentation and effective communication with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
