This assignment guarantees exposure to a wide range of workflows, technologies, and clinical leadership styles, boosting your adaptability and professional growth. Schedule/Hours:

  • Rotating every other weekend
  • No on-call requirements
  • Holiday coverage required (75% of holidays)
  • Scheduling cycles run every 6 weeks

Qualifications:

  • Current RN license
  • Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience, preferably with prior travel experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
  • Proficiency in diverse Med/Surg and Telemetry clinical skills, including stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and chest tube care, drain/tube management, and cardiac drip administration

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional nursing care to MedSurg/Tele patients with diagnoses such as CHF, COPD, chest pain, and stroke symptoms
  • Float to various regional facilities as needed, supporting care teams and adapting to new unit cultures
  • Collaborate with CNAs, resource nurses, hospitalists, and support departments
  • Efficiently utilize Epic EMR, Alaris pumps, Omnicell dispensing systems, and Phillips monitors
  • Prioritize patient safety, documentation, and communicate effectively across interdisciplinary teams
