Job Description

Schedule & Orientation

  • Orientation sessions held every two weeks
  • Contract role with immediate needs

Qualifications

  • Active, unrestricted RN license valid in any U.S. state, territory, or Puerto Rico
  • At least 2 years experience in an acute or sub-acute care setting
  • Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
  • Willingness to complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications within six months of hire
  • Adaptability and strong independent decision-making skills

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages, adhering to physicians orders, established protocols, and hospital policies
  • Perform and document assessments, administer medications, and provide patient education and family support
  • Collaborate with multi-specialty teams, ranging from internal medicine and pediatrics to surgery and emergency care
  • Support the facilitys mission to serve the surrounding Native American populations in a compassionate, patient-centered manner

Additional Details

  • COVID & Flu vaccination exemptions considered with completion of a declination form
  • Limited, shared housing available at $600/month (no family members or pets permitted); application required at least two weeks prior to start
