A rewarding opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical (MS) experience to join a reputable healthcare setting in Burleson, TX. This contract position offers a focused night shift schedule with excellent patient care dynamics, providing a supportive environment for nursing professionals skilled in medical-surgical care.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Minimum of 1 year Medical-Surgical nursing experience required
- Current immunization titers must be documented at submission
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
Schedule / Hours:
- Nights: 18:45 to 7:15
- Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend
- No 48-hour shifts
- Floating to other Medical-Surgical units as needed
Responsibilities:
- Deliver competent and compassionate care to a 20-bed unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
- Utilize MedHost EMR system to document and coordinate patient care
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to facility protocols, including wearing designated Royal Blue scrubs
