Provide expert nursing care in a dynamic medical-surgical orthopedic unit that values teamwork and quality patient outcomes. This contract opportunity is based in Arvada, CO, on a 20-bed unit specializing in elective orthopedic and orthopedic trauma patients. The setting promotes a positive, collaborative environment with a dedicated nursing staff focused on delivering excellent care.

Responsibilities:
- Independently manage care for up to 5 patients per shift
- Perform typical surgical unit procedures including dressing changes and aspirations
- Provide pain management and orthopedic care as needed
- Collaborate closely with charge nurses and nursing staff to maintain a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation and patient management
- Support a positive patient experience by adhering to unit guidelines and promoting teamwork
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Proven ability to effectively manage a surgical nursing caseload independently
- Experience in a surgical or orthopedic-focused nursing environment required
- Preferred skills include pain management and orthopedic nursing expertise
- Positive attitude and strong team player mentality
Schedule:
- Night shift hours from 7 PM to 7 AM
