Schedule/Hours:

• Contract position with flexible scheduling as determined by facility needs

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a medical-surgical acute care setting
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
• Demonstrated ability to supervise and delegate responsibilities to allied nursing staff
• Proficiency in the nursing process, patient documentation, and care coordination
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with established standards of practice
• Oversee and mentor nursing staff, allocating assignments, and evaluating performance
• Utilize critical thinking and sound clinical judgment to respond to changing patient conditions
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to plan, coordinate, and implement patient-centered care
• Accurately document patient observations, interventions, and outcomes within electronic medical records
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety, satisfaction, and team performance
• Maintain professional growth through ongoing education and adherence to best practices
