Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a background in Interventional Radiology (IR) for a dynamic contract role. This opportunity requires expertise in both IR and Cath Lab environments, supporting procedures and offering exceptional pre- and post-operative care.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable 8-hour shifts or 4 shifts of 10 hours
• Start times may be at 7:00 AM or 8:00 AM depending on need
• On-call required every 34 days (MondayFriday) and every 3rd or 4th weekend
• 40 hours/week guaranteed

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab
• Strong prioritization skills with proven time management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to carry out hourly rounding for assigned patients
• Excellent communication and patient care delivery
• Willingness to participate in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
• Must be able to float between IR and Cath Lab, based on volume

Preferred Experience:

• 23+ years in IR/Cath Lab roles
• Background in a 200+ bed hospital
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR

Responsibilities:

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for IR and Vascular procedures
• Monitor patient vitals and assist with charting throughout procedural care
• Administer sedation as needed
• Facilitate hourly patient rounding and ensure patient comfort and satisfaction
• Collaborate effectively with medical staff and contribute to a positive patient experience
• Support both IR and Cath Lab units as workflow demands
