Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide care within a dynamic Interventional Radiology (IR)/Vascular environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for professionals passionate about patient-centered care and excited to work alongside a collaborative clinical team.
Schedule/Hours:
- Variable 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts (start times may be 7 a.m. or 8 a.m. dependent on department needs)
- On-call every 34 weekdays and every 3rd or 4th weekend
- 13-week commitment
- 40 hours/week guaranteed
Key Qualifications:
- Current RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of IR or Cath Lab experience required
- Experience in both Pre- and Post-Op care
- Commitment to hourly patient rounding and customer satisfaction
- Strong team orientation, organizational skills, and open communication style
- Patient-focused and proactive in problem-solving
- Facility does not accept former staff or local candidates within 50 miles
Preferred Attributes:
- More than 23 years of relevant IR or Cath Lab nursing experience
- Previous experience in a hospital with 200+ beds
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR
- Versatility to float between IR and Cath Lab departments when needed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver Pre- and Post-Op care for IR procedures
- Accurately chart procedures and monitor patient vital signs
- Assist with sedation and hands-on patient care in the IR suite
- Participate actively in coordinated multidisciplinary care
- Comply with department protocols, including required on-call coverage
