This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in ICU nursing. Serving in a critical care unit within a progressive medical setting, this role offers the chance to work closely with a 6-bed ICU, providing care for critically ill patients with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 3:1. The position requires advanced clinical skills, including procedures such as central line and arterial line placements, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and intubation.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license with current ICU nursing experience
• Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and BLS required
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities
• Familiarity with ICU equipment including Arctic Sun and Continuous EEG
• Experience with Meditech documentation system preferred

Work Schedule and Location:

• Travel assignment based in the White Bluff/Dickson, TN area
• Approximately 36 hours per week with alternating weekend shifts
• Opportunity to float to ICU overflow units as needed

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive critical care to ICU patients adhering to unit protocols
• Utilize advanced nursing skills and clinical judgment in high-acuity situations
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary team including nurse techs and support staff
• Maintain accurate patient records via electronic documentation systems
