Job Description
Deliver expert nursing care as an RN in an intensive care setting, providing comprehensive support to critically ill patients. This role involves coordinating care for medical, surgical, and cardiac patients facing life-threatening conditions, including shock and trauma. Utilize your clinical expertise and critical thinking skills to manage complex cases and supervise nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care according to established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Provide coordinated nursing care to assigned patients in the ICU using the nursing process
- Monitor and assess medical, surgical, and cardiac intensive patients with acute and critical needs
- Supervise and direct nursing staff activities, fostering teamwork and adherence to protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Utilize professional and supervisory discretion to make independent, informed clinical decisions
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with ICU nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills
- Experience working with medical, surgical, and cardiac intensive care patients
- Ability to supervise and guide nursing staff effectively
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Location: This position is based in Van Nuys, CA, a vibrant community within the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles.
