Advance your nursing career in a dynamic and supportive critical care environment, providing expert care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit. This contract role is an excellent opportunity for experienced ICU nurses to make a meaningful impact and expand their skill set across a variety of clinical settings.

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shift: 7:00 PM 7:30 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed per week, working 3 x 12-hour shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Includes 5 weekend shifts within a 6-week period

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• At least 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience
• Comfort and flexibility to float to sister facilities within Tucson, including Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, and ED units
• Prior experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred
• Professional presentation in any solid color scrubs (no prints)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality patient care within the ICU setting, adhering to best practices and protocols
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Respond promptly to critical situations and perform advanced interventions as required
• Adapt quickly to float assignments in Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, and ED as needed, supporting consistent staffing levels across facilities
• Accurately document all patient care activities in the Cerner EHR system
