Deliver critical care with dedication and expertise in this ICU nursing opportunity based in Tucson, AZ. This contract role offers a chance to provide high-level patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on adult intensive care. With a night shift schedule, youll work alongside a skilled team to support patient recovery and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patient conditions closely and respond promptly to emergencies.
- Float to sister facilities within Tucson, including Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, and ED units as needed.
- Utilize clinical skills and experience with electronic health record systems (Cerner preferred).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Arizona RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records highly preferred.
- Flexibility and willingness to float to various units within the Tucson area.
- Professional appearance with scrubs in solid colors (no prints).
Schedule:
- Night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours guaranteed).
- Rotation includes 5 weekend shifts within a 6-week period.
- No on-call responsibilities but first to float among sister facilities.
