Qualifications and Experience:
- Active and unrestricted RN license
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
- Proficiency in managing complex patient conditions and advanced life support equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including monitoring and reacting rapidly to changes in status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, analyzing patient data to inform care decisions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on treatment protocols, recovery, and ongoing care needs
- Maintain meticulous documentation and ensure adherence to facility protocols and safety standards
