A rewarding ICU nursing opportunity is available in Sahuarita, AZ, offering a 13-week contract role with a focus on delivering expert critical care. This position emphasizes the importance of skilled patient care during night shifts and requires flexibility to support multiple units within the healthcare network.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid Arizona RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Experience with Cerner electronic medical records preferred
- Ability and willingness to float to sister facilities, including Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, and Emergency Department units
Schedule:
- Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.
- Three 12-hour shifts per week, totaling 36 hours guaranteed
- Weekend coverage required: 5 weekend shifts in a 6-week rotation
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care in an ICU setting, monitoring and responding to critically ill patients
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Float to sister facilities as needed, demonstrating adaptability and broad knowledge across multiple clinical areas
- Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner system
Professional Standards:
- Dress code includes wearing scrubs in any solid color, with no prints allowed
- No on-call responsibilities, but priority for floating assignments across associated units
