This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse experienced in Intensive Care Units, offering a dynamic night shift schedule and a rewarding work environment in Sahuarita, AZ. This 13-week contract position is designed for professionals ready to bring their critical care expertise to a fast-paced setting with a supportive team.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
- Minimum of 2 years ICU nursing experience
- Experience with electronic health records, preferably Cerner
- Flexibility to float between sister facilities, including Med Surg, Telemetry, Step Down, and Emergency Department units
Schedule:
- Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- 36 hours guaranteed per week, organized as three 12-hour shifts
- Weekend coverage required: 5 weekend shifts within a 6-week rotation
- No on-call obligations, with first priority for float assignments at sister facilities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to ICU patients using evidence-based practices
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient condition and respond promptly to changes
- Maintain accurate documentation and utilize Cerner electronic medical records effectively
- Adhere to facility policies, including dress code standards (solid color scrubs, no prints)
