Job Description
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse with critical care experience, specializing in ICU settings. The role involves delivering coordinated nursing care to patients or assigned groups in accordance with established nursing standards and processes. The RN will supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff, coordinating care with multiple disciplines while applying critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill medical, surgical, and cardiac patients.
- Monitor and assess patients who have experienced shock, trauma, or other life-threatening conditions.
- Supervise and guide nursing staff activities to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and independent judgment in the clinical decision-making process.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing.
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing standards and procedures.
- Ability to supervise and direct nursing staff effectively.
- Proficient in patient monitoring, assessment, and care of medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU patients.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
