Working in this role will significantly enhance your professional skills, providing valuable exposure to a fast-paced 10-bed ICU within a renowned Wisconsin hospital. Collaborate with experienced teams, encounter a broad array of critical cases, and gain in-depth experience with Epic charting. As part of this assignment, youll have the opportunity to float between multiple facilitiesexpanding your adaptability and learning from a variety of workplace approaches and leadership styles.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract, full-time
- 12-hour night shifts (NOCs), 36hrs/week
- Every other weekend & holiday coverage required
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Wisconsin RN license (active and in good standing)
- Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required
- At least 1 completed travel assignment
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Epic charting experience within the past 12 months
- Hardworking, resilient, social, and adaptableready to manage change and foster strong team dynamics
- COVID-19 vaccination (unless qualified medical/religious exemption)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ICU
- Adapt to unit changes and float to nearby affiliated locations as needed based on census
- Operate with professionalism while supporting and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
- Document thoroughly using the Epic system
