Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, coordinated nursing care to ICU patients, adhering to established standards.
- Oversee and guide assigned nursing staff to ensure continuity and consistency in patient care.
- Utilize the nursing processassessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationto achieve optimal outcomes.
- Exercise independent judgment, critical thinking, and professional discretion in fast-paced situations.
- Coordinate care across disciplines, maintaining open, effective lines of communication.
- Maintain documentation accurately and promptly according to regulatory and unit requirements.
- Participate in ongoing education, non-productive hours, and training within the Float Pool as scheduled.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and facility guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Valid and unrestricted RN license.
- Minimum of one year recent experience in ICU or critical care nursing.
- Competence in supervising and supporting nursing staff.
- Familiarity with contemporary clinical technology, documentation systems, and critical care monitoring.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and effective communication skills.
- Ability to adapt within a Float Pool environment and follow clock-in protocols for each unit.
