Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients or assigned groups, ensuring adherence to protocols and high standards
- Supervise and direct the activities of assigned nursing staff across varying levels
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate optimal patient care
- Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion in clinical decision making
- Maintain meticulous patient records and contribute to care planning and quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with policy, safety, and infection control procedures
- Participate in educational and training activities to stay current on best practices
Schedule:
- Contract position with flexible shifts as assigned by the unit
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage critically ill patients in acute care settings
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Ability to adapt quickly, handle multiple tasks, and work effectively within a float pool or as part of a rotating team
