Responsibilities:
- Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to intensive care patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Supervise and direct varying levels of assigned nursing staff, offering guidance and support to optimize patient outcomes
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary professionals, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment to deliver optimal care
- Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies
- Flexibly adapt to assignments as part of the nurse float pool, with the expectation of accurate time reporting based on unit assignment
Qualifications:
- Current RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking, leadership, and effective communication skills
- Ability to perform autonomously within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
