Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, evidence-based nursing care to intensive care patients, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Supervise and direct varying levels of assigned nursing staff, offering guidance and support to optimize patient outcomes
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary professionals, utilizing critical thinking and independent judgment to deliver optimal care
• Maintain meticulous documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements and facility policies
• Flexibly adapt to assignments as part of the nurse float pool, with the expectation of accurate time reporting based on unit assignment

Qualifications:

• Current RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong critical thinking, leadership, and effective communication skills
• Ability to perform autonomously within a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
